In this video, Dr. Farid Jalali explains how COVID-19 activates platelets to release serotonin and how SSRIs can vacuum up the serotonin to prevent damage. If the disease is caught to late, SSRI treatment alone is insufficient so by adding cyproheptadine, the damage can be effectively neutralized.
