That the Israelis helped turn a bunch of fringe Palestinian Islamists in the late 1970s into one of the world’s most notorious militant groups?

Former Israeli official Brig. Gen. Yitzhak Segev, who was the Israeli military governor in Gaza in the early 1980s, told a New York Times reporter that he had helped finance the Palestinian Islamist movement as a “counterweight” to the secularists and leftists of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Fatah party, led by Yasser Arafat. Avner Cohen, a former Israeli religious affairs official who worked in Gaza for more than two decades, told the Wall Street Journal in 2009 that Hamas is “Israel’s creation.”

Fox & Friends: “One of the two suspects arrested was reportedly taken into custody at the Paris airport trying to board a flight to Algeria.”

“This comes after local officials say this may have been an inside job after revealing they found digital forensic evidence that a member of the museum’s security team was in touch with the thieves.”

At the same time, he doubts that the US will invade Venezuela.

"I don't think so. If it happens, I will be surprised," the senator replied to the host's question.

He stated that America "will take care of the Western Hemisphere, of freedom and democracy."

In particular, he implied that something similar could happen to Cuba - "it will be the end for Cuba."
