After a massive year for Tesla, in which the carmaker sold more than 900,000 electric
vehicles, Elon Musk, the CEO, has his sight set on 2022. His dream of making EVs, the
major means of transport, has not waned, and Musk is pushing ahead with five brand
new EV models for 2022! What are these five EVs, and how do they contribute to
Musk's overall plan to replace ICE cars with zero-emission battery-powered cars? Join

2021 will go down as one of the best years yet for Tesla as a company and Musk
personally! Tesla comfortably met its goal of a 50 percent increase in production over
2020. The company only needed to ship 750,000 units to meet its goal. Even analysts
expected the company to deliver 897,000, but Tesla ended up producing 936,000 cars,
87 percent better than it did in the previous years! This was despite Musk asking his
staff not to prioritize completing delivery at the expense of efficiency toward the end of
the year, a time Tesla usually has the most deliveries! Also, Tesla faced the same chip
shortage issues multiple industries faced globally, but it was able to react faster and do
a workaround. Tesla also became the first and only automobile company to be valued at
over trillion dollars, thanks to news about popular car rental company, Hertz, placing an
order for 100,000 units of Model 3! The trillion-dollar record appears to be remaining in
place for some time, judging by the worth of the rest of the automobile companies! In
the same year, the Giga Factory in Shanghai, China, hit its stride, pumping out
hundreds of thousands of electric cars.
Personally, Musk became the richest man alive, overtaking his arch-rival, Jeff Bezos, by
a wide margin. This was largely thanks to Tesla's stock price that continues to soar on
the back of good performance.
Despite all these successes, Musk and Tesla remain focused on Musk's goal, which is
to make electric vehicles the sole means of mobility as soon as possible. Musk wants to
produce 30 million vehicles per year by 2030 to meet anticipated demand! Right now,
Tesla sells four models, the Model 3, Model Y, Model X, and Model S.
The overwhelming majority of Tesla's sales were made up of Model 3 and Model Y.
However, Musk and Tesla realize that these four models do not adequately meet the
needs of all potential EV owners! To address this issue, Musk has revealed five new
Tesla cars for 2022! This means 2022 is going to be one busy and rewarding year for
both Musk and Tesla and could end up being a big turning point for the company!
This video is about the five Tesla cars coming in 2022, so we will now dive in! Some of
the names will be familiar because Tesla has been talking about them for some time,
while other names will catch you by surprise! Also, let's warn you that you might have a
hard time deciding which of them you like most!
The first electric vehicle is the Cybertruck. It has become the most anticipated EV of all
time, with pre-orders reportedly totaling more than one million units! This is no surprise
because the Cybertruck belongs to one of the hottest categories of vehicles in the US,
the pickup trucks! Trucks are among the bestselling models in the country! Also, there is
a pent-up demand for battery-powered electric pickup trucks because that category has
not been appropriately served, making it a field ripe for harvesting!
However, this is not to say the Cybertruck is popular only because there are not many
battery-powered pickup trucks on the market! This truck has so much going for it that
other brands pale in comparison! To start with, the Cybertruck is simply different in
appearance, a deliberate choice by Musk, who just couldn't bear that all popular trucks
looked alike when you remove their brand markings, making them boring! But of course,
the Cybertruck is much more than its looks! For instance, did you know that the steel
body is made from the same material SpaceX uses to make its groundbreaking
spacecraft, the Starship? So when you drive the Cybertruck around, note that you are
inside a body fit for space travel!
But that's not all the selling point of the Cybertruck! It is a powerful EV, capable of
accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds! All that power comes from
the electric motors, with Tesla lets you configure as uni, bi, or tri-motor! The Cybertruck
tows up to 14,000 pounds behind it and has adaptive suspension to help it navigate
rougher terrains! Since it is a truck, it can take up to 3,500 pounds of payload in 100
cubic feet of lockable exterior storage! And thanks to the new 4680 battery Tesla has
made, the Cybertruck offers up to 500 miles between charges, giving you peace of mind
to drive anywhere!

The primary purpose of this monthly AI day is to attract talent. Tesla has been organizing events in recent years to present innovative technology that the company has been working on in various disciplines, rather than to introduce new products.

A 'Tesla Autonomy Day' in 2019 and a 'Tesla Battery Day' was held last year, for example. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, stated on Twitter that the company is preparing a "Tesla Ai Day": "We're planning to conduct Tesla AI Day in approximately a month or two." Will go about Tesla AI software and hardware progress, both training and inference. The goal is to recruit." Musk has long said that those interested in artificial intelligence should work at Tesla because of the company's capacity to quickly deliver products using AI.

The date coincides with the release of FSD Beta v9 by Tesla and the wider deployment of city street driving as part of the FSD package.

Tesla recently stated that a truly full self-driving system could be implemented once the manufacturer accomplishes 1 or 2 million miles per driver interaction through the FSD beta test. I believe that releasing a public tracker of that measure to see progress toward that goal would be the finest thing Tesla could do for owners who purchased the FSD packages.

Elon Musk claims Tesla could have a working humanoid robot by September 2022

Elon Musk recently stated that the Tesla AI Day had been moved from August 19 to September 30 with the aim of showcasing a "functioning" Optimus prototype.

It's a bummer for Musk fans, but with enough faith and money, something will eventually roll off Tesla's assembly line. But, like past Tesla products with aggressive timetables, not everyone believes it will arrive this year or even perform effectively for years.

Elon Musk also says Tesla's AI prototype will come this year.
Optimus, or Optimus Subprime, a bipedal, humanoid robot that Musk teased on Tesla's AI Day in August 2021, is Musk's vision of a bot that can handle all the boring, repetitive chores that people prefer not to do.

Currently, Lithium-ion batteries are the most popular choice for electric vehicle manufacturers. Despite their technological promise, Lithium-ion batteries still have a number of shortcomings, particularly with regards to safety.
Li-ion batteries have a tendency to overheat, and can be damaged at high voltages. In some cases this can lead to thermal runaway and combustion.
This has caused significant problems, notably the grounding of the Boeing 787 fleet after onboard battery fires were reported. Because of the risks associated with these batteries, a number of shipping companies refuse to perform bulk shipments of batteries by plane. Li-ion batteries require safety mechanisms to limit voltage and internal pressures, which can increase weight and limit performance in some cases.
Li-ion batteries are also subject to aging, meaning that they can lose capacity and frequently fail after a number of years. Another factor limiting their widespread adoption is their cost, which is around 40% higher than Ni-Cd. Addressing these issues is a key component for current research into the technology.
Finally, despite the high energy density of Li-ion compared to other kinds of batteries, they are still around a hundred times less energy dense than gasoline.

Lawyers for #Tesla CEO Elon Musk sent an ultimatum to Twitter on Monday, telling him that until additional information is provided, he will leave the company. Once loan funding has been secured, Musk will have to pay $33.5 billion in cash. Due to the fact that his fortune, estimated by Forbes at $218 billion, is heavily dependent on Tesla Inc., the electric vehicle business he heads up, his liquidity is constrained.

Volkswagen Boss Urgent Message To Elon Musk: "You Just CLOSED The Gap!"

Volkswagen has been fighting Tesla tooth and claw for some time, but to what end? Does Volkswagen envision itself as a rival to Tesla?

Elon Musk and his electric-car firm may experience growing pains due to Tesla's new facilities, according to Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess.

Tesla and the Volkswagen Group are often regarded as electrification leaders, particularly in their home markets of the United States and Europe. However, Tesla remains the undisputed leader, with about double the all-electric sales volume of Volkswagen last year.

According to Reuters, Volkswagen Group CEO Herbert Diess stated that the business is "earning more than ever" and increasing electric car manufacturing in its two most important markets, Germany and China.

All of this is projected to enable the German manufacturer to close the EV gap between Volkswagen and Tesla, putting it on course to become the global leader in EVs by 2025. At least, such is Diess's prediction, which predicts that Tesla's position would deteriorate.

Tesla's problems at the Giga Berlin-Brandenburg and Giga Austin plants, as well as the growth of Giga Shanghai, according to Herbert Diess, would sap Tesla's strength:

"Elon must simultaneously scale up to two extremely complicated plants in Austin and Gruenheide, as well as grow production in Shanghai," Diess said not long ago, according to Reuters. "That's going to sap his strength."

According to Reuters, the German CEO discussed the impact of supply-chain bottlenecks on Volkswagen's production objectives. According to Reuters, Diess stated that Tesla's supply-chain issues might open the way for Volkswagen to overtake the vehicle firm in the EV market.

Diess' fears about Tesla are similar to Musk's. In an interview with Tesla Owners Silicon Valley last week, Elon Musk warned that the carmaker's new plants in Texas and Berlin had turned into "gigantic money furnaces" that were losing billions of dollars.

Musk stated that the Shanghai lockdown was causing electric-car battery shortages and supply-chain problems, making it impossible to scale up production at the plants. They had only manufactured a "small" number of vehicles.

Soon, Tesla will establish plants in Austin, Texas, and Berlin, Germany. However, the company's main production plant is in Fremont, California.

Meanwhile, Diess stated at the conference not long ago that Volkswagen is increasing manufacturing in Germany and China as semiconductor chip shortages have begun to improve.

Volkswagen has expanded its presence in the electric vehicle market in recent years. Scott Keogh, CEO of Volkswagen's US office, told Insider's Tim Levin in April that he views electric cars as a means for the automaker to gain a larger share of the US market.

"To me, it's like an F1 race," Diess added. "This is your chance to start in the first two rows, as opposed to being in the 12th if we do anything with the internal combustion engine."

Elon Musk is one of the richest and most successful men on the planet, with his immense intelligence being the key to how he’s accomplished so much...but how did he get so smart? Let’s explore that question!

Back to the Start
To understand how Musk is so smart now we need to go all the way back to the beginning and see the metaphorical seed Musk was that turned into a (symbolic) mighty oak of success. Therefore, let’s start with his birth! Elon Musk was born on June 28th, 1971 in South Africa. As a child, he would get so lost in his daydreams and thoughts his parents had his hearing checked due to his not listening to adults very often! Musk’s parents got divorced when he was 10 and around that time he developed an interest in computers. At only age 12 Musk created a video game called, “Blastar,” he was able to sell at a profit to a magazine that then published the source code and paid him $500--in 1984 money that was a lot! Due to being short and bookish, Musk would at times be picked on in school. At age 15 he had a sudden growth spurt, however, and began learning karate as well as wrestling to defend himself. From this young age it was apparent that when Musk put his mind to something, he worked incredibly hard at it. Whether this was programming with such skill he made an actual video game at age 12 or learning a wide range of martial arts such as Kyokushin karate, taekwondo, judo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. This dedication to learning continued as Musk entered his collegiate years.

Further Cementing His Skills at College
Musk moved to Canada at age 17 in the year 1989 to attend Queen’s University. One reason he left South Africa for his collegiate education was to avoid the mandatory period of service in South Africa’s military residents otherwise face. Musk was able to obtain Canadian citizenship after moving there, theorizing it would be easier to eventually obtain American citizenship as a Canadian in future years. In 1992 Musk was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania and moved there to obtain an undergraduate degree in economics and then another bachelor’s degree in physics. Musk was accepted to the prestigious Ivy League University of Stanford in California and moved there with a plan to study energy physics. However, the internet boom was starting so after just two days as a student at Stanford he dropped out! He created his company, Zip2 Corporation with assistance from his brother, Kimbal. It was 1995 and Musk had officially entered the World of business. Before long, things would never be the same.

Becoming a Pillar of Industry
The Zip2 Corporation helped provide online city guide software to newspapers that were trying to break into the then-newer internet. Their, “office,” was tiny and Musk would sleep in the little room most nights as he did almost nothing but work his hardest to make the software among the best possible. Zip2 and its online city guides were a hit. It was so successful that in 1999, a division of Compaq Computer Corporation bought Zip2 for $307 million in cash and $34 million in stock options. Musk had gone from a broke and nerdy programmer to a multimillionaire. He could have stopped there, but his thirst for knowledge and success meant he was only just starting on his road to achievements.

Expanding His Knowledge--and Businesses
Keep in mind that Musk studied economics and physics in college. He didn’t study programming or the field that he went into next--online financial services. Musk just was so incredibly curious about the World he would constantly read books and want to learn new things. This desire to learn helped Musk be able to basically, “See,” what the next big thing would be, and Musk foresaw that as the internet grew to be able to pay for things online would need to be streamlined and become easier. Musk founded X.com with this and eventually it merged with a company known as PayPal. Yes, that PayPal. It was 1999 when Musk joined PayPal and in 2002 it was bought out by eBay for 1.5 billion. Musk owned 11.5% of PayPal’s stock when it was bought out by eBay. Musk had been working mostly in the field of programming at this time, but he wasn’t done expanding his learning or businesses. In 2002 he was about to embark on some of his riskiest and soon-to-be most impressive business ventures ever.

SpaceX and Tesla
In 2002 Musk founded SpaceX with the goal of using his physics knowledge and business sense to create a company that could explore outer space and eventually take humans to Mars.
