For over a month, a volcanic eruption off Japan's Iwo Jima Island has been building itself into a new island.
Iwo Jima, home to some of the fiercest fighting in WW2, is located about 750 miles (1200 km) south of Tokyo.
Iwo Jima's name aptly means, "Sulfur Islands"...
Regarding the ongoing massive discharge of CO2, sulfur, and gasses, Greta Thunberg was not available for comment.
