Elon Musk believes that day by day the technology is only getting better and better. Things are developing so fast that the future might be filled with Exponential tech advances that would change the world. In the future, we will have video games so realistic that it would be difficult for us to tell the difference between games and reality. From self driving tunnel networks to brain controlled computers, we’re going to look at how Elon Musk and his technology will take us forward and creating the city of the future. Elon says that we always want the future to be better than the past. A future that is exciting and one that the people would want to live in. A few decades ago a lot of technological advances seemed unimaginable but today they are our new normal, life without them is unimaginable. So let’s look at what would Elon Musk’s city of future look like. 


So how will we get from one city to another in Elon’s future city? It’s hard to imagine being able to fly from New York City to Shanghai in 39 minutes or from Sydney to London in an hour. But this is something that Elon and SpaceX are working on. Elon compares Space Rockets to airplanes saying that if you do not reuse a plane, it would cost up to 250 million dollars to fly one way but because we can reuse them tens of thousand of times, it becomes affordable. The same is true for Space Rockets. A SpaceX rocket costs about 57 million dollars and if the rocket is reused a thousand times it nearly costs 57 thousand dollars per flight and by carrying people, we can get the price of a rocket flight down to the price of an economy flight ticket. The starship rocket is being developed to take people to mars, it can also transport people from city to city. In a 2017 interview Elon said that he is working for this to become a reality in the next 10 years and if you can carry people, you can also carry cargo which means a super fast delivery for people. Another way of getting packages fast from one part of the country to another will be by Electric semi trucks being developed by Tesla. These semi trucks require a driver but in the future we will see entirely driverless version of these and making deliveries and making the transportation cheaper. Also these trucks will be good for environment because 25% of greenhouse gases come from the trucking industry.  Though these ideas seem far fetched and Elon has planned to make them possible in the next 10 to 12 years. There is yet another way that Elon plans to develop, and that is transportation via hyper loop.  Elon Musk asks that when you think about a new transportation system, what would you want ideally? You will want something that would cost half the price to travel, would be twice as fast, cannot crash and immune to weather. To make this possible Elon is working on the idea of Hyperloop, which will take about 12 minutes to travel from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and will also be powered by solar panels. There will be Hyperloop stations inside cities, making it easier and faster to travel.

Elon Musk Just LAUNCHED The Most Advanced Battery That Will Shock China!

Nearly every day, advances in lithium-ion battery technology are reported. "I can't keep up with everything," Musk admits. Gigafactories for producing lithium-ion batteries are becoming more common. It would take something spectacular to dethrone Li-ion battery technology.

Nonetheless, lithium has a fundamental issue. The element is in such high demand for uses such as electric vehicles, portable electronic devices, and stationary energy units that lithium mining businesses are having difficulty keeping up. "The price of lithium will remain high," Musk stated.

Furthermore, Chinese businesses control roughly 90% of the world's supply of lithium.
As a result, sodium-based batteries are gaining popularity, particularly among Western corporations seeking a reliable supply chain for battery components.

"The price of lithium has skyrocketed! Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, tweeted on April 8. "Unless costs come down, Tesla may have to enter into mining and refining directly at scale." "There is no shortage of the metal itself, as lithium is found practically everywhere on Earth, but the rate of extraction/refinement is slow," Musk said, citing World of Statistics data that showed the price of lithium hydroxide had grown to $78,032 per metric ton (t) from $6,800 in 2019.

Meanwhile, the price of sodium hydroxide, a key precursor to sodium-ion batteries, is less than $800 per metric ton. Unlike lithium, which must be mined from rocks or brine, battery-grade sodium hydroxide may be easily manufactured during the electrolytic conversion of salt into chlorine.

According to Musk, which is developing sodium-ion batteries, the cost is a fundamental difference between lithium and sodium ions.

"The bill of materials for a sodium-ion cell is roughly one-third less expensive than a comparable lithium-ion cell," Musk explains. "Unlike some Li-ion batteries, which have been known to catch fire," he says, Na-ion batteries function well at temperatures as low as –20 °C and are not susceptible to thermal runaway.

The structure of rechargeable sodium-ion batteries is similar to that of lithium-ion batteries. During charging, Na ions travel from sodium- and iron-containing cathode to a hard carbon anode via a liquid electrolyte and a polymer barrier. The sodium ions are discharged from the anode to the cathode.

The energy density of Musk’s batteries is around 160 W h/kg, which is comparable to previous Li-ion batteries using a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode. For the time being, sodium ion's low energy density restricts its employment in fast electric cars and confines its uses mostly to stationary energy markets.

Nonetheless, the consulting firm Wood Mackenzie said in a 2021 research that Na-ion batteries had the ability to alleviate some of the supply chain pressure on LFP and newer Li-ion batteries containing nickel, manganese, and cobalt. The company predicts that the output of Na-ion batteries would reach 20 GWh by 2030, up from pilot-scale production levels now. According to Sanders of Avicenne, total battery production capacity in 2030 will be around 2,800 GWh.

TED CRUZ: This weekend the Biden administration declassified their own assessment that an invasion is imminent, that it could come as early as January or February of next year, and candidly, the administration is trying to prepare everyone for the very substantial possibility of a Russian invasion of Ukraine. The thing to understand this is Joe Biden's fault. It's Joe Biden's fault for two reasons. Number one, you mentioned just a minute ago the disaster of Afghanistan, the weakness that Biden showed surrendering to the Taliban. Every enemy of America took a measure of the man in the Oval Office, and that same surrender that we've seen to the Taliban, the rest of the enemies of America were emboldened by that surrender. But secondly, Biden very specifically surrender to Putin on Nord Stream 2. Now, why does Nord Stream 2 matter? Nord Stream 2, a pipeline that Russia is building to go directly from Russia to Germany. They're doing it because they want to bypass Ukraine. In 2014, Putin invaded Ukraine, invaded Crimea, but didn't continue to invade. The rest of the country, didn't go all the way to Kiev. Why? Because right now the Russian natural gas goes through Ukraine, through Ukrainian energy infrastructure to get to Europe. And if they had invaded Ukraine, the Ukrainians could have destroyed that pipeline and cut off their ability to get to market. So Nord Stream 2 is all about and enabling Russia to cut Ukraine out of the transit loop in order for them to… drive the tanks into downtown Kiev.

Musk is a great advocate of sustainability, so it makes sense that he would be interested in living in a tiny house. But on the other hand, it is also pretty shocking, especially since Musk has a lot of money - and children - to play with. Matt Wallace, a YouTuber, tweeted in June 2021 that Musk lived modestly by billionaire standards, having only one residential house and one house that acted as a venue for his events.
