Elon Musk is on the verge of becoming the messiah of the world.
He started by leading the tech industry, spacecraft, and cars. Then he went for crypto and blockchain, making the market skyrocket. He also notably aided Ukraine in the war. After all these, he’s now willing to be the owner of one of the biggest social media platforms — Twitter. Sounds like a one-man-army! But it impacts the circumstances a lot. Today, we are going to talk about what #ElonMusk just did with #Twitter that changed everything!

Elon Musk purchased a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter earlier this month, and the news quickly spread throughout the internet. Things moved quickly, and the tech millionaire was offered a seat on the Twitter board of directors, which he respectfully rejected. However, as few predicted, the world's richest man has now made a bid to purchase Twitter's whole stock for $43 billion. There are more questions than answers in the offer. If the Twitter takeover fails, the tech titan has previously stated that he has a backup plan. A cursory glance at Musk's filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission reveals that the tech guru said unequivocally that his $43 billion prices are the best and last offer. This equates to about $54.20 per share on a total basis. Musk feels the price is higher, and that the shareholders will be pleased.

He will not have to sell any Tesla stock to purchase the communication platform because he has stated that he will pay cash. Because his offer was rejected by Saudi Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal and his firm Kingdom Holding, which has a large share in Twitter, the Tesla entrepreneur would have to return to his pocket. "I don't think that the suggested offer by Elon Musk is $54.20 per share. I decline this offer," the prince tweeted, rejecting Elon's offer. He is one of Twitter's largest and most long-term stockholders. Elon Musk responded quickly, as usual, with a tweet that contains more than meets the eye. "Interesting, just two questions, if I may," writes the tech star in his response tweet, “What percentage of Twitter does the monarchy control, both directly and indirectly? How does the kingdom feel about journalistic freedom of expression?"

Although Musk doesn’t claim to have any religious beliefs, his recent comments to Babylon Bee suggest a thoughtful interest in the person and teachings of Jesus.

Musk said he “agreed with the principles Jesus advocated”, adding: “There was great wisdom in the words of Jesus and I agree with those teachings. Things like 'turn the other cheek' are very important… Forgiveness is important and treating people as you wish to be treated. Love thy neighbour as thy self – very important.”

But as Musk seeks, to an extent, to learn from Jesus, can the Church learn from someone like him? While his fears about the dangers of AI may seem like the stuff of sci-fi films let’s not forget that Musk has already displayed a remarkable knack for anticipating where our tech is taking us.

1 year ago today militarised members of Victoria Police under the command of their Chief Commissioner Shane Patton and with the blessings of Premier Daniel Andrews indiscriminately shot and terrorised unarmed Australian civilians, including families with children at the Shrine of Remembrance.

The Australians were exercising their right to peaceful assembly and their right to protest against a government that they believed was providing inadequate representation on a number of issues. For this the State mobilised absolute police power to shut down all public displays of dissent against the Andrews government.

The Andrews Labor government is yet to release any meaningful health advice or independent reviews of their decisions that predicted the extreme measures that harmed the Victorian community that day, and more broadly over the course of the last 2 years.
