Whoops: ABC station accidentally airs presidential election results showing Kamala Harris comfortably winning key swing state
A local ABC affiliate in Pennsylvania sparked a wave of online theories after it displayed an apparent election result for the swing state on Sunday - it showed the VP winning with 52% of the vote, more than a week before Election Day.
The result, which showed 100% of precincts reporting and Republican challenger Donald Trump with 47%, appeared at the bottom of the screen during the broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix on WNEP-TV.
The incident has prompted widespread speculation and concerns about potential election irregularities despite the station's lack of official explanation.
