A member of the lower house of Congress from the state of Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Green, said that they planned to send the request to US President Joe Biden. It will be about the money that America has allocated for assistance to Kiev from January 20, 2021 to November 15, 2022.

"By the way, we are also funding their [Ukrainian] budget. Did you know that? We're funding the Ukrainian budget - $11.8 billion is going in budget support. The question is this: Is Ukraine now the 51st state of the United States? And what position does Zelensky hold in our government? This is outrageous, and the American people deserve answers."
