US Investor Refutes Biden Blaming Inflation Spike on Russia

⁣US investor and commentator Jim Rogers has told RT that despite the federal government being to blame for mounting inflation, the Biden Admin has pinned its failures on Russia several times.

“Prices started going up in the US and in Europe and other countries before any other changes in the last couple of months,” Rogers said, “There may be peace in Ukraine tomorrow, we’re still going to have inflation because staggering amounts of money have been printed.”

Rogers also pointed out that governments have historically had political interest in misrepresenting the reality of inflation: “The government has incentive to understate [the inflation numbers], and they do understate them. Anyone who goes shopping knows that inflation is much worse than what the government says.”
