Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, wrote in an email to executives of the electric carmaker announcing a 10% reduction in staff and a worldwide pause on hiring, Reuters reported on Friday. The reported email comes on the heels of Musk facing backlash over a message to staff demanding they return to the office. It also comes amid a tumultuous and gloomy global economic outlook amid Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine.

What did Musk reportedly say?
In the email carried the subject line "pause all hiring worldwide" and was sent late on Thursday. Musk wrote that he has a "super bad feeling" about the economy, but did not elaborate. Neither Tesla nor Musk immediately commented on the Reuters report. Tesla shares were down 3.4% in premarket trading following the report. Earlier in the week, Musk made headlines for another email to staff announcing a 40-hour in office requirement for all employees. "If you don't show up, we will assume you have resigned," he wrote in that email.

SpaceX dismissed staff in response to a letter denouncing Elon Musk.

According to the New York Times, SpaceX dismissed employees who took part in authoring and disseminating an open letter condemning Elon Musk.
The letter, which was first disclosed yesterday, labeled Musk's social media conduct "a regular cause of distraction and shame" and requested SpaceX to denounce it.
According to three anonymous employees and an email from SpaceX president and COO Gwynne Shotwell acquired by the New York Times, SpaceX fired some of the letter's organizers, but it is unclear how many were let go.
The workers' open letter included recent sexual misconduct charges against Musk, which allegedly resulted in a $250,000 settlement.
Prior to the letter, Musk allegedly informed SpaceX staff that they needed to work at least 40 hours each week or face being fired.

In the past decades, flying cars have been a dream for humans, but now that dream is creeping closer to reality, as a number of companies are working on their own version.Tesla, the largest EV maker, or maybe we should say one of the best makers of technology, is now developing its first flying car. Pretty cool, right? But this car is beyond anything shown in the movies.

The innovative billionaire Elon Musk tweeted in May 2021 that the TeslaRoadster, to be launched in 2022, will be able to fly, though it will only for brief periods. He made the comments two years after Elon Musk told aYouTuber he is serious about producing a 'flying' car.An unidentified Twitter handle, @teslaownersSV, posted a video clip of theTesla Roadster on May 21 saying, "Can't believe this car can fly a little bit per @elonmusk. SpaceX package is gonna be unreal."And upon reading that tweet Musk responded, "This will actually be able to fly very briefly. I always laughed at flying cars & now making one. Fate irony haha."
