Elon Musk is currently the richest person in the world, and with that comes a lot of things he can get himself. But one thing he can’t buy is the affection of his children. With recent news of his daughter, Vivian choosing to sever legal ties with her father by changing her name to match her mother’s maiden name, it begs the questions of why his kids don’t seem to want anything to do with him.
It could be because, they can’t get behind the unconventional names he’s chosen for his two youngest kids, which are a moutfhul to get around. It could also be the impact Elon’s divorce from Justine Wilson had on their kids, they share 5 of Elon’s living 7 kids. But ultimately, it’s not hard to ignore the impact Elon’s childhood may have on his relationship with his children. Elon’s kids are some of the few celeb kids who choose to stay out of the spotlight, at least for his oldest. Could be because of their strained relationship with their father, or just because he’s Elon Musk. Despite the strain, Elon seems to be trying to make up for some lost time with his youngest children, maybe in hopes they’ll be the ones to get in on the family business. Some of his choices may seem odd or insensitive, and it’s not hard to see how that could trickle down to the relationship he has with his children. Blue Origin has been working on the BE-4 engine for quite a while now. This process has had its ups and downs.
Over these past few years, delays had been accruing in the program, including turbopump problems, combustion instability, overheating, and a shorter than planned engine life, just to name a few. In addition, company management issues in the past left insufficient hardware to build development engines, leading to extended periods where no testing could be done. These among other issues have continued to delay the completion and release of these next-generation rocket engines. However, recently it seems the company has been making better strides with the engines.

On Jun 22, Blue Origin shared shots of its BE-4 rocket engine in an important test phase. Amazon and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos is awaiting engine readiness before his company’s New Glenn rocket can take flight, and United Launch Alliance CEO Tory Bruno needs BE-4 engines for its Vulcan Centaur system.

“For the first time, our Huntsville engines team has installed a BE-4 engine into Blue Origin’s refurbished and historic MSFC Test Stand 4670 preparing for commissioning tests,” the company said today. Alabama is not only home to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center but also Blue Origin’s engine production facility.

Blue Origin agreed to modernize NASA’s MSFC Test Stand 4670 seen in today’s images three years ago for BE-3U and BE-4 rocket engine testing. The 300-foot tall vertical firing stand was built and used in 1965 for Saturn V testing during the Apollo program, but it went offline in 1998 after being used for the Shuttle program.

In fact, this is not the first time Blue Origin shows off BE-4 engine progress.

One such video was shared in May this year that showed the BE-4 firing up in all its glory. The engine ran for more than a minute as it was able to sustain its performance for some of the flight time required to leave the Earth's atmosphere.

The video also provides a glimpse of the engine from its nozzle as it lights up. The nozzle is the region of a rocket engine that controls its thrust's interaction with the surrounding atmosphere. Looking 'up' from the nozzle one can spot the engine's injector plate that is above its combustion chamber. In this chamber, the engine's fuel, LNG, and Liquid Oxygen in the case of the BE-4 are combined and lit up to generate thrust.

While the video is of low quality, the plate is visible and it shows the moment both the LNG and Oxygen enter the chamber. Sharing high-quality images of injector plates of newer engines are forbidden by U.S. law, so Blue Origin can only share low-quality videos at best.

Why does it appear that Elon Musk has quit using Twitter? Since joining Twitter in 2009, Tesla and SpaceX CEO and the world's richest person Elon Musk have not only garnered a reputation for being a prolific and mercurial Twitter super-user, but he has also built a reputation for being the world's richest person. In addition, he has an offer on the table to purchase the social media giant that is worth $44 billion. Tuesday was Election Day across numerous states, with outcomes foreshadowing what's in store in November's midterm elections, where the balance of power in the nation's congressional branch is likely to be reconfigured. There was also a seismic ruling by the Supreme Court that effectively reverses the long-standing protections of Roe v. Wade. Roe v. Wade was the landmark case that legalized abortion rights in the United States in 1973.

So, what exactly is going on with Elon?

From a flood to a trickle to nothing at all. According to Sources, Elon Musk sent out an average of 145 tweets and retweets per week, which works out to approximately 21 per day, in the five weeks leading up to June 16. It was on that day that an open letter penned by SpaceX employees and signed by all of them was distributed. The letter referred to Musk's tweets as "a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment." Some of the signatories of the letter were promptly fired, but Musk's tweeting also promptly slowed down and eventually stopped altogether after June 21.

However, at least one person has seen and spoken to Musk since the curtain dropped on his tweet show. Before June 21, Musk did not publicly share any indication that he would be taking a break from his favorite social media pulpit. Since that date, however, he has been seen and spoken to by at least one person.

According to Newsweek, a reporter named Johnna Crider who works for the website dedicated to reporting on renewable energy called Musk at the Tesla factory in Texas to conduct an interview.

According to a tweet posted by Crider, "many people are worried about @elonmusk since he's been offline for some time." "I saw him yesterday at Giga TX. It was very kind of him to spend some time talking with me, and I really appreciate it. His attention was on his work, but he is unharmed and in good health.

At best, Musk's Twitter history can be described as chaotic. This week, Musk's Twitter account became the sixth most followed on the platform, behind Barack Obama, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Cristiano Ronaldo. The site showed that Musk had 100.2 million followers on Wednesday. Musk's account passed the 100 million follower mark earlier this week (in that order.)

Musk's tweets may generate a flood of traffic, but his output has occasionally also come with a hefty price tag.

Tesla Gigafactory also enjoys similar privileges in the state of Texas. This state has been an ideal place for Musk and his company. Accordingly, Texas has no individual or corporate income tax. Elon Musk quietly had twins with one of his top executives weeks before he welcomed a child with Grimes via surrogate, court documents have revealed.

In November, the Tesla CEO, 51, reportedly had twins with Shivon Zilis, 36, the director of operations at Musk's brain-machine interface company Neuralink, Insider reported. He now has nine known children.


Musk and Zilis filed a petition in April to change the twins' names in order to 'have their father's last name and contain their mother's last name as part of their middle name,' according to the court documents.

The twins were born in November, just weeks before Musk and Claire Boucher, the musician who performs as Grimes, had their second child via surrogate in December.
Zilis, who was born in Ontario, Canada, met Musk through OpenAI, the artificial-intelligence research-and-deployment nonprofit Musk cofounded in 2015, Insider reported.

She studied economics and philosophy at Yale where she also played goalie on the women's ice-hockey team.

In 2015, Zilis was on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in the venture-capital category and in 2017, got the chance to use her AI expertise at Tesla.

Just last year, Zilis posted a nod to Prince Harry's Silicon Valley startup with a throwback picture of the two of them from 2013 when she was asked to brief him on tech startups.
'In 2013 I was asked to brief Prince Harry about tech startups,' she tweeted. 'Here I'm telling him how the Basis watch on my wrist came into existence through a crowdfunding campaign. At the time I wondered why he was interested in tech startups. 8 years later we finally know the answer!'

Zilis is currently the director of operations and special projects for Neuralink and has been floated as one of the people Musk could tap to run Twitter Inc after his $44 billion deal acquisition.

In 2020, Zilis posted a tweet defending Musk on his decision to move Tesla out of California over COVID-19 restrictions.

California State Assembly member, Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, had tweeted 'F**k Elon Musk.'

Zilis responded: 'This makes me sad. No one's perfect but I've never met anyone who goes through more personal pain to fight for an inspiring future for humanity - and has done so tirelessly for decades. Everyone's entitled to their opinion but mine is that there's no one I respect and admire more.'
The news of the twins' arrival brings Musk's total count of children to nine. Musk shares two children with Canadian singer Grimes, and other five kids with his ex-wife Canadian author Justine Wilson.

It's the latest in Musk's complicated personal life that includes three marriages and three divorces, including two of each with the same woman, and seven children from two long-term romances.

Musk and Grimes welcomed their second child Exa Dark Sideræl, who goes by Y, via surrogate in December. The billionaire said that he and Grimes were 'semi-separated,' according to a report by Page Six in September last year. They have another child named X Æ A-Xii.

In April, one of Musk's children with first wife Justine Wilson filed court documents seeking to legally change their from male to female and lose their last name, stating: 'I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.'

Xavier Musk, 18, filed the paperwork in Santa Monica, California, on April 18, seeking to be known as Vivian Jenna Wilson, taking the maiden name of her mother Justine Wilson, who was married to Musk from 2000 to 2008 and shares 18-year-old twins Xavier and Griffin and 16-year-old triplets Damian, Kai and Saxon.

The transgender teenage explained that they wish to take their mother's last name to distance them from their dad but they have not commented on whether they receive financial support from their dad - whose $213 billion dollar fortune makes him the world's richest man.

Musk has been vocal on various transgender issues and last year he complained about people using their own pronouns. He also said he was a fan of Florida governor Ron DeSantis who has been condemned by the LGBTQ community for his bill preventing discussion of gender identity and homosexuality in classrooms for children in kindergarten through third grade.
