Elon Musk suggested he might die “under mysterious circumstances” in a cryptic tweet that appeared to be referring to a threat by the chief of Russia’s space agency.

On top of publicly condemning what Putin was doing, Elon provided SpaceX Starlink terminals to Ukraine at the request of top government officials who worried that the country would lose internet access due to Russian attacks. Today, President Trump invoked Section 740 of the D.C. Home Rule Act, seizing control of the Metropolitan Police Department, deploying the National Guard, and vowing to “liberate” Washington, D.C.

For the first time in modern history, a president has used this provision to override local governance in the capital. The Mayor and City Council no longer control their own police force — that authority now rests with the President.

This is more than a law-and-order push, it’s a direct, lawful reclaiming of the seat of American power — a reminder that D.C. is NOT a state, and its “self-rule” can be revoked when it fails the people.

Trump has just taken the heart of the beast. The capital, home to Congress, the courts, the agencies, and the deep state machinery, is now under his command.
