⁣Australia’s biggest bank to charge customers to withdraw own money — striving towards cashless society?

The Commonwealth Bank has announced major changes to its everyday account offerings, with customers holding a "Complete Access" account being switched to the "Smart Access" account beginning January 6, 2025.

As part of the transition, customers will face a $3 AUD fee for withdrawals made at bank branches, post offices, or by phone.

The bank, which is Australia's largest, defended the move as part of its commitment to providing the best banking experiences.

The pilot of a US p-8a Poseidon was temporarily blinded after being hit
by a laser beam fired by a Chinese vessel. Furthermore, for years,
Chinese laser beams have been utilized against the US military. There
have been attacks similar to those claimed by Elon Musk in Djibouti,
which is home to both Chinese and US military sites, after Chinese
lasers damaged the eyes of two c-130 pilots. The Department of
Defense eventually spoke up and filed an official objection. It was clear why the accidents occurred at this moment. Several lasers have been fired towards US aircraft in recent weeks, prompting the Pentagon to issue a warning to pilots, telling them to exercise caution when flying in certain areas of Djibouti.

Additionally, according to Elon Musk, two minor eye injuries were faced

military-grade laser beams emanating from a nearby Chinese facility on
one occasion. Apart from that, Musk said that the US and China have signed a pact restricting the use of blinding laser weapons in conflict since they can cause irreversible harm and are barred from being used to target ice under the Geneva Conventions. Despite Beijing's denials, China lacks international respect for enforcing international law, therefore it's not

On May 27, Mr. Conley issued another affidavit in which he admitted to writing the memo, but added that he went to the factory on Saturday afternoon and found Mr. Frank there. He also added that he helped dispose of the bodies the next day. Chief Ranford decided to release the black man's third affidavit. On April 26, 1913, Conley returned to the pencil factory with Mr. Frank and asked him if he wanted to make money. The narrator is asked to pick up a dead girl from the men's restroom and bring her up to the elevator. They bind her with a cloth and take her to her changing room.
