⁣Israel's Chief Rabbi David Yosef:

“Gaza is the Land of Israel, Gaza is ours, Shechem is ours, Jenin is ours, all of them are ours.”

On Palestinians:

“This mob that is not a people, that they call themselves a Palestinian people but they are not a people.

They never were a people and they have no rights. The rights are ours.”

On the desecrated Gaza synagogues:

“It is fitting that the Holy One Blessed Be He destroy all of Gaza and we will return there.”

He is one of Israel's two official Chief Rabbis, elected in 2024.
