A months-old headline is spreading online anew, wrongly suggesting that California is currently requesting electric vehicle car owners to stop charging their cars.

Back in 2021, a June 18 Facebook post claims the state “literally” told electric vehicle owners not to charge their cars, as gas prices in the country soar.
What is the reason that people living in California are upset about not allowing electric car chargers?
California energy officials issued a sobering warning this month, telling residents to brace for potential blackouts as the state’s energy grid faces capacity constraints heading into the summer months.
In Sacramento, officials said California’s grid could face a potential shortfall of roughly 1,700 megawatts, which would affect the power supply of between 1 million and 4 million people this summer. That number would likely be exacerbated by an additional shortfall of 5,000 megawatts in the case of extreme heat and further fire damage to existing power lines.
And since the state has committed to phase out all new gas-powered vehicles by 2035 — well ahead of federal targets — the additional load from electric vehicle (EV) charging could add more strain to the electric grid.
Two dozen sites with at least 75 years of data set June heat records between June 13 and 19, Alex Lamers, a meteorologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said in a June 21 tweet back in 2021. Palm Springs tied an all-time record high at 123 degrees.

But today’s video is quite a little scary because #SpaceX is planning to end its partnership with #NASA which accounts for 43 % to 48 % share of SpaceX revenue. So mainly there are three reasons for this, that a giant like SpaceX is planning to do so. But before understanding those reasons it’s important to know where SpaceX stands today. On April 17, when NASA revealed the result of its competition to develop a spacecraft to take astronauts back to the moon, it was clear that Elon Musk’s strategy of leveraging economies of scale had passed yet another milestone.

#Neuralink, cofounded by Musk in 2016, is creating a device that would be implanted in people's brains to simultaneously monitor and stimulate brain activity. Treatment of severe spinal cord injuries and neurological diseases is one of its intended uses in medicine. The Wall Street Journal's CEO Council Summit had a livestreamed conversation on Monday in which #ElonMusk was asked what Neuralink plans to achieve in 2022.
Neuralink is functioning well in monkeys, and we're undertaking a lot of testing to validate its safety and reliability. The Neuralink gadget can be removed safely, as Musk said. He said, "We aim to have this in our first humans — who will be patients that have severe spinal-cord injuries like tetraplegics, quadriplegics — next year, subject to FDA permission."
