The Wall Street Journal's CEO Council Summit had a livestreamed conversation on Monday in which #ElonMusk was asked what Neuralink plans to achieve in 2022.
Neuralink is functioning well in monkeys, and we're undertaking a lot of testing to validate its safety and reliability. The Neuralink gadget can be removed safely, as Musk said. He said, "We aim to have this in our first humans — who will be patients that have severe spinal-cord injuries like tetraplegics, quadriplegics — next year, subject to FDA permission."
