Elon Musk just called out President Joe Biden. Sleepy Joe does not seem to want to recognize Elon Musk and Tesla’s contribution to the American car industry even though he’s been doing the opposite for brands that are not as effective or influential as Tesla. Why? It may seem rather strange that the country’s president wouldn’t recognize a prime driver of his country’s economy, but what is going on is deeper than what you think.
President Joe Biden praised the fact that more things are being "Made in America" in his State of the Union speech. Automakers, according to Biden, are important contributors to manufacturing and employment creation. The president stated that corporations are choosing to establish new factories in the United States rather than elsewhere, as was the case a few years ago. He mentioned Ford and GM as particular examples, but Tesla was left out.
