Testing the Akasa Turing Fanless PC Case
https://www.patreon.com/fullysilentpcs
Akasa has a new fanless NUC case available, known as the Turing. It is designed for 8th generation "Bean Canyon" Intel NUCs. The design is much different than any of Akasa's previous NUC cases, and is a big step forward!
The Intel i7-8559U reached a maximum of 65 °C with 50W, and 60 °C with 30W. This is significantly better than the stock case, which reached 92 °C with 50W, and 82 °C with 30W.
Available for sale are fully silent computers, built with no moving parts. The computers utilize passive heatsinks to dissipate the heat into the air. A variety of models are available with a variety of latest generation processors and SSD storage options. These PCs are great for general use or as home theater PCs. They have zero fans, zero spinning disks, and therefore zero noise! They are available at the link above.
